I'm held captive at the hands of my own thoughts, fear runs down my spine and to become a hostage is not the life I wish to lead.
To wake up to these anchors, these chains that drag me down
I build these walls to surround myself, to keep the world out. Block out the ones that I hope to never know and never see the difference in night and day.
I close my eyes and pretend that things have changed. No more pain in my head, just the wind against my face.
